Northwestern baseball ties program record for most losses in a season
The Wildcats baseball team recorded its 38th loss of the season Monday, tying a school record for most losses in a season.
Northwestern is now 13-38 on the year after being swept by Cal in a 4-game series. The Cats previously lost 38 games in the 1992 season, going 18-38.
NU concludes its season with a 3-game set against Rutgers beginning this Thursday. Even if the team sweeps the series and finishes 16-38, the .296 winning percentage will be the program’s worst since 1970.
